April Tulips in Amsterdam

There's lots to be said re: Amsterdam ... but let's cut to the chase .. it's the tulips that we came to see.

So, on the first warm, sunny day, we took the bus out to the Keukenhof gardens where we were able to rent bikes and spend all afternoon riding along tulip fields ... not unlike the corn fields of Minnesota that spread out at every turn ... but not like the corn fields of MN at all!

It's my vision of Heaven ...
